It is a non-partisan poll by current members of the Association and has no bearing on any election. HCCLA does not endorse any judge or candidate for judicial office, and the results of the poll are not an endorsement by the Harris County Criminal Lawyers Association. The poll is intended to improve the criminal justice system and better inform the public about the judiciary in Harris County Criminal District Courts and Harris County Criminal Courts at Law.
