The Harris County Criminal Lawyers Association Speakers Bureau provides educational opportunities for community organizations, churches, schools, and groups through providing free speakers for events, including local attorneys, available to discuss or make informative presentations on criminal justice topics, with a local focus, including:
- The Criminal Case in Harris County: Start to Finish
- Pre-trial Release and Bail Reform
- Constitutional Rights of the Accused
- Role, responsibilities, and realities of a Criminal Defense Lawyer as a Career
We will work with you to provide an appropriate speaker for your event. Please allow as much advance notice as possible in order for us to find an available speaker for your event, as our members often have conflicting court and other engagements. We cannot guarantee that all requests will be filled.

Please note that a submission does not guarantee a HCCLA speaker; however, we will do our absolute best to secure a speaker for your event.
